Caniparola is a charming little village in Fosdinovo Municipality, nestled among the stunning scenery and rolling hills of Lunigiana: the medieval heart of Tuscany, a stone’s throw from the Liguria Region across the burbling Magra River.

Caniparola is the perfect base from which to explore the waves of history in Northern Tuscany or the East Ponente of Liguria. Only one hour from Florence, Lucca or Chianti and just a few miles (by car or boat) from the breath-taking Cinque Terre or the romantic Il Golfo dei Poeti (the Poets’ Gulf, where Lord Byron, Shelley and Keats whiled away the hours delving into the depths of their souls).

Caniparola is a breeze to get to: the international airport (Pisa) is less than an hour away, the train stations of Sarzana or Carrara are only a few miles away or alternatively the Sarzana motorway exit is just a few miles from Caniparola.
